Biography

Physical beauty is temporary. Life is temporary. We have a limited time on earth and we need to enjoy the beauty in all things, eating the whole fruit and spitting out the seed. Life has brought me to a place where I can explore and share feminine beauty and to merely record what the Creator has allowed me to experience. Physical beauty is a moment. It is fleeting.

I have been a photographer for over 30 years. I think of how the subjects I have captured have changed. Youth has become mature. Babies have become beautiful young women. Those young women will become mature much more quickly than they could imagine. Life is a process. Physical change is another of life’s experiences to be embraced, not feared, but also cherished. Denial is uglier than any change time brings. Beauty is to be cherished, revered and honored and even immortalized. It will soon be gone.

My place in this world is to preserve the beauty of a moment forever…to press it like a special flower in a book.
